NEW SUN

Furious and trembling footsteps furrow the ground
sounding like distant chimes of a bell. 
Thus I draw taut an obscene and secret boundary.
I am without myself and a stranger to the world,
locked up in the intimate. I still walk.
I built the cage. Of gold it holds me.
Are they bars or caresses? Out with the world, not with me.
I watch myself, and everything grows, it is immense,
magnified under the lonely gaze.
The breaths of life crush me.
I walk. I walk again. Endlessly.
Suddenly, everything quiets down. Then it trembles.
Beyond the door barred by fierce nothingness.
a new sun rises. Blurred, as if far away.
But I see it. I walk. I walk again.
I don't look at it. Time has taught me
the flow of the circles. Do you see it?
Alone I found my first light,
But I'm not sure about the reflections.
I walk, I walk again.
Now the new sun is high.
I reach out my arm, I brush it.
Perhaps, I still can.
